Shipment – Sea (Liquid Cargo)

We are tasked to assist a customer to arrange their shipment of liquid cargo from their supplier in Singapore in a container for export to their overseas buyer.

First we arranged to collect the said shipment from the supplier’s warehouse according to the customer’s order. Checks are taken before collection. This is to help customer ensure that all the drums are not leaking or damaged in any way. After properly sorting out the shipment in our warehouse, we loaded the said shipment into a container for export to the required destination. It might seem to be an easy task. However it was not an easy feat to ensure that all the required drums of liquid loaded properly. The shipment has to be sea worthy for a journey about a month long.

The said shipment has to be able to withstand all movements of the sea voyage to the destination. The expected transit time might be extended due to unexpected delays and congestion at various points during the sea voyage to the destination. Nonetheless, we completed the tasks efficiently and ensured the shipment reached the buyer safely without any issues. The required documents are also in place for both the customer and buyer.
